Jurgita – Co-founder and the CEO of Sensory Space. Registered Psychologist, Cognitive behavioral therapy specialist, international speaker, NLP practitioner, parent educator and consultant. In 2021 Jurgita and her colleague Agne and all Sensory Space were awarded The All-Ireland Business All–Star accreditation as Rising Star. And as a result, now belong to the Register of Irish Business Excellence (TRIBE).
As a busy mother of two children, Jurgita knows from personal experience that when you begin to know and accept yourself, fundamental changes in life begin. Because only by getting to know yourself can you begin to get to know and understand others – the person in your life, children, parents, friends, etc. An axis of awareness emerges that provides inner peace, awareness, and joy. This improves interpersonal relationships wherever in a couple, family, or work.
Jurgita is a specialist, who is constantly deepening her knowledge in the field of psychology and has been working with families raising children with additional needs in Ireland for several years. She is one of the collaborative partners of the Family Carers Ireland Emergency Card scheme that the Taoiseach officially launches in 2020. Together they developed A Social Story, to help people understand the Emergency Card Scheme.
Her experience working with families at the international level and different nationalities brings a great understanding of the Education system in Ireland. Jurgita shares her knowledge and work experience with her colleagues and different organizations in Ireland and other countries. As a member of different organizations Jurgita follows ethics, codes, and standards.
Jurgita’s practice is informed by the integration of positive psychology with M. Seligman, that we suffer most when we believe that we have no efficacy in our lives, CBT – understanding that our thoughts create our feelings and behaviour and Carl Rogers, and his person-centred therapy.
Jurgita enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her little dogs. She loves reading, painting, and spending time in nature.
