Rowen's Biography

Rowen is a valued member of the Sensory Space team. She first joined us as a volunteer during our Summer Camp in 2025, where she spent two weeks supporting and assisting the children taking part in the programme.
Having a younger brother who is autistic has given Rowen a personal understanding of some of the everyday experiences and challenges that families of children with additional needs may face.
Rowen has a positive attitude towards learning and enjoys challenging herself, developing new skills and trying new things.
Outside of Sensory Space, Rowen has been passionate about football since the age of nine. She plays for Termonfeckin FC and is a proud Liverpool supporter.
Rowen is also a big music fan and loves going to concerts whenever she gets the chance. Some of her favourite artists include Ariana Grande and Harry Styles.

Eve's Biography

Eve is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist specialising in Play Therapy, with over 20 years’ experience working with children. She began her career as an Early Years Educator after obtaining her BA (Ord) in Early Childhood Care and Education. Her passion for supporting children’s emotional wellbeing led her to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy, followed by a Master’s Degree in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.

Eve takes an integrative, child-centred approach, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet the individual needs of each child. Through play, children can express and explore feelings and experiences that may be difficult to put into words, supporting the development of
emotional awareness, coping skills, confidence and resilience.

Alongside her therapeutic work, Eve has experience supporting parents and young children in the early years, with a particular focus on child development, relationships and parenting. She believes that working collaboratively with parents and carers is an important part of supporting
positive change and helping children and families beyond the therapy room. She is also a trained facilitator of the Circle of Security Parenting Programme.

Eve is committed to ongoing personal and professional development and is currently pre-accredited with the Irish Association for Play Therapy and Psychotherapy (IAPTP), working in accordance with its professional and ethical standards.

Outside of her professional life, Eve enjoys spending time with her family, including her two teenage children. She loves spending time in nature and at the beach, as well as getting creative through crafts and other creative activities.
